Welcome to The Love List. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our matchmaking, event, and community offerings (“Services”). By engaging with The Love List, you agree to these Terms as well as our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you may not use our Services.

1. Overview of Services

The Love List provides personalized matchmaking, curated social events, introductions, and related relationship-focused experiences. The nature and duration of services may vary based on availability, customer readiness, and level of participation. While we continually work to enhance our offerings, certain elements of the Services may change or evolve over time.

2. Eligibility

Use of The Love List is limited to individuals who are eighteen years of age or older. By accessing our Services, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

3. Best-Effort Matchmaking

Our team is dedicated to identifying, vetting, and coordinating introductions between compatible individuals. Matchmaking is a personalized and nuanced process, and while we strive to provide thoughtful, compatible matches, we cannot guarantee specific match frequency, chemistry, or relationship outcomes. In the event matchmaking opportunities become limited, we will continue to act in good faith to generate suitable introductions when possible.

4. User Responsibilities

To support the matchmaking process, you agree to provide accurate and up-to-date information and to participate in consultations, interviews, or assessments as needed. You also agree to communicate respectfully with matches, staff, and community members, and to follow all guidelines related to events, communication, and conduct. Behavior that is disruptive, dishonest, unsafe, or disrespectful may limit or suspend your access to our Services.

5. Payments and Refunds

All fees paid to The Love List are final and nonrefundable. Payments cover time, labor, vetting, coordination, and access to our matchmaking network, as well as any event-based services included in your experience. Refunds are not provided due to dissatisfaction, perceived lack of chemistry, changes in schedule or personal circumstances, or outcomes beyond our control. If you are unable to attend an event, your event registration can be transferred to another member or to a future event. 6. Communication and Responsiveness

We provide updates, introductions, and event information through email, phone, or other communication channels. You are responsible for maintaining accurate contact information and responding in a timely manner. Extended periods of nonresponsiveness may slow or pause your matchmaking experience.

7. Events and Onsite Participation

When attending a Love List event, you agree to follow all venue rules, staff instructions, and safety guidelines. Participation in any event is voluntary and at your own discretion and risk. We reserve the right to remove or restrict access to events for behavior that compromises safety, comfort, or the experience of others.

8. Member Conduct

All Terms of Service are interpreted with the safety and well-being of members as the highest priority. Members must respect all boundaries established by The Love List.

Contacting, attempting to contact, or continuing contact with another member outside of The Love List–facilitated events or platforms is prohibited unless both members voluntarily and directly exchange contact information with one another during a The Love List–facilitated introduction.
The Love List reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to suspend or terminate membership for violations of these Terms or for any conduct deemed inconsistent with the safety, integrity, or values of the community. Enforcement decisions may be made without prior notice and without obligation to provide specific details.

Upon termination, members must immediately cease all contact with The Love List, its members, and event participants. Any attempt to retaliate, harass, intimidate, or re-establish contact following termination may result in further action.

9. Limitation of Liability

The Love List facilitates introductions and experiences but is not responsible for the actions, behavior, or compatibility of other participants. We do not guarantee any personal, social, romantic, or relational outcome. You engage with matches and attend events at your own discretion and risk. To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Love List disclaims liability for any damages or disputes arising from the use of our Services.

10. Privacy and Data Use

Your use of The Love List is subject to our Privacy Policy, which outlines how personal information is collected, used, and safeguarded. By using our Services, you consent to the data practices described in both the Privacy Policy and these Terms.

11. User Content and Information

By providing personal information, photos, preferences, or other materials, you grant The Love List permission to use such information solely for matchmaking, events, safety processes, and internal service improvement. We may restrict or remove content that violates our guidelines or compromises user safety.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Updated versions will be posted on our website with a revised date. Continued use of the Services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the amended Terms.
